The good, the bad, and the ugly

Well, graduations are in the air.  Graduations and school years are how I count time.  Since I have been married to a student for almost 8 years and now a resident whose hospital contracts also begin in the summers, this is just the way it is.

I guess it is time for the brag-blog.  You know the one.  The one where I oooh and ahhh you over our cute wonderful family who is loving Ohio, general surgery, and life with young children.  But, I thought I'd get a little down and dirty.  Just for fun.
So here it is:

THE GOOD:
Josh survived.  I survived.  The boys are thriving.  Josh has gotten very good reviews of his work and progress this intern year. (Remember that as you read on.)

THE BAD as quoted from a review
Clearly inappropriate terminolgy for medical documentation "butt pain"..."fell on butt"

Go ahead, laugh!  I did.  He was on one of the dreaded 30 hour shifts, and well, he just said what the patient did.  LOL!!

and the UGLY:
"Further, much of what you wrote is illegible.  Please solve this problem. . ."

No surprise there-at least for those of us that have had the opportunity to read the script of this wonderful man.

So, here's to one down, four to go....
